I went to a photography class before and the instructor say we should always set to the highest resolution despite the files are big. Firstly it will be good for print and secondly there might be other nice objectives in the photo that we have not spotted. So by setting it to the high-resolution, we can crop the rest of the unspotted objectives and save them at a better resolution.
